Cnnicide, the media version of seppuku.
Someone tell the writer to stop using “woke”. It’s idiotic.
The journalism schools are a part of the problem and not a part of the solution.
Citizen journalism (including volunteer senior citizens) is where we need to go next.
I can see great potential in web sites where citizens do the research and report news (on a volunteer basis).
The days of big wealthy gatekeepers can’t end soon enough for me.
Ya mean like George Webb?
I will tell him. Then he will be woke.
“CNN.. a 24/7 version of Orwells Two Minute Hate with Trumps image replacing that of Emmanuel Goldstein.”
That is a great line, and perfectly embodies what’s happening these days.
1984 and the ‘’2 minutes hate”, that’s so true, the American media is actually more like Orwells “hate week”. Uncanny.
And exactly what’s happending in N Korea today. Just make the ignorant mad and general and redirect the hate to new imaginary enemies as needed.
Try harder CNN don’t let Trunp ,,,,, trump you ,,, get really mean ,,, I mean attack every thing about the man ,, and don’t let up !!!!!!
,,,,,,, business as usual ,,,,,
Like - great post
I do agree....CNN is the equivalent of Sears/K-Mart. You can look back at the mid-1990s and Sears knew that it was in a failure mode at that point....doing little but to sustain itself and wait till the bitter end.
In CNN’s case....I think the owners will attempt to sell them off...even for a loss, and it’ll go through two owners in a year-type situation, before some Chinese network buys them. We will wake up in in the summer of 2020 to find some Wang-dude doing the CNN prime-time news and laughing over the demise of the network.
