Sort of like that second or third time ‘people were saying’ that Osama Bin Laden was killed. I still do not believe he was killed on May 2, 2011. I suspect it was far sooner than that, maybe December of 2002.
We really don’t know and we probably never will.
Again, what gets me is how some here go apoplectic if one questions even one dot of the narrative or one millisecond of the official timeline. Whatever happened to the concept of investigation and truth-seeking? It is supposed to be part of our Western legal and political tradition going back centuries.
Ultimately, all we can say now is that the timing of the event, among other things, probably got Obama re-elected.
