In 2003-06 we got too many signups who just wanted to cheerlead a war and had no philosophy of liberty to guide them. Few are interested in the same set of topics we discussed back then. The nauseating daily photo threads and endless hero worship of Bush Junior ruined FR for me.

The unwillingness to revolt against the increasingly obvious abuse of our military (and treasury) in these foreign adventures is what did it for me. FR was unbearable for me for a decade afterwards; only after the tide-turning Cantor Event did things start to turn around again.
