Waaaaah! Dana Milbank is really really angry at Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and if he doesn't do just want Dana wants him to do then he will be shunned by liberals forever and ever.
Milbank went into full petulant fury mode on this topic in his May 12 Washington Post column in which he angrily declared how betrayed he feels over the fact that Rosenstein did not follow the approved liberal narrative on the James Comey firing. Not only did Rosenstein commit the heresy of issuing a memo listing the reasons for firing Comey which all liberals wanted to happen right up to the moment he actually was fired by President Trump, he dared to contradict incorrect mainstream media reports that he threated to quit his job.

The libs know that Comey was the main pole in the barn. With Comey now gone, they know it’s only a matter of time before the barn roof comes crashing down upon them. They are in full panic mode with no means of escape short of fleeing the country for an non-extradion state. Those howling the most and the loudest are the most corrupt and have the most to lose. Sessions needs to let loose with a volley that will blow em all over on their backs.
Then why they all want Comey fired right up until Trump did it? If Trump had ignored the letter and not fired him they would be saying Comey’s covering up and demanding a special prosecutor and Trump’s impeachment. If Trump says the sun comes up in the east, they will say it comes up in the west. Just as simple as that. But Comey is a snake in the grass, good ridance.

Because he has all the dirt to bury some very high ranking libs. IF they could find a way to strategically get him removed without him having to give any kind of “testimony”, they felt they’d be rid of him and all what he knows. But now, since Trump has literally trapped him by the proverbial balls, it ratchets him into giving testimony which the libs are scared spitless of happening. As you state, he’s a snake but IF they can get him to rat out the RATs, more power to Trump for doing so. Trump kept him around for a reason. Now, we’ll soon see.
