Trump should get off Twitter. He sounds unstable, not what you want in a President.

No to getting off Twitter. No he doesn't sound unstable. Yes he is EXACTLY what I want in a President!

Like maybe not being 100 percent contradicted the next day by the man you are supposedly speaking for?

“...the Trump haters need him to get off twitter...”

Exactly!!!! and the Never Trumpers on FR need to stop saying he is “unstable”.

Twitter is President Trump’s only non spun-by-the-enemedia opportunity (well his great rallies and speeches too) - to tell “We the People” the Truth to counter the dirty enemedia lies on both the right (Never Trumpers) and the left!!

I am old school and don’t use twitter or facebook or any of those and I totally see that President Trump has to use twitter.

I like his tweating.

It drives the obsolete MSM batshyte crazy.

Trump is OUR memo to them.

If they don't like that message - then they should've DONE THEIR JOBS.

There is no greater enemy to the conservative cause than the main stream media. It is well past time that they are consciously seen as such, called out as such and eviscerated.

It is our only chance. Trump and his administration should boycott them the way Obama boycotted conservative media.

First, I want to get out of the way that Trump screwed up by not firing Comey on January 20th. We all thought he should have, and the support would have been bipartisan.

It wasn’t so much he was fully contradicted - the letter played a part or he wouldn’t have fired him until after he got it, and it would have looked harder without Rosenstein’s recommendation. Huckabee-Sanders indicated that the leaks played some role in it. She also said he had lost confidence (clearly predating letter). Kellyanne Conway indicated his decision process predated the letter. However, they just failed to articulate things plainly. They were clearly caught off guard as was I honestly. I thought there would be bipartisan support for this as the Dems were ripping on Comey earlier in the week.

I have read that Trump was afraid of leaks and so did not alert his Comms team until an hour prior to it be announced. The problem is that he doesn’t trust his Comms team not to leak - that someone is running to the press that hates the Administration. They don’t run to Trump friendly outlets either. They go to the NYT, Washington Post, CNN, etc. That’s a problem, and these leakers must be caught and terminated.

They needed to be ready to have a message, OR when they saw the crapstorm that was ensuing, they needed to sit down with Trump for an hour, get their talking points together, get everyone exactly in line, and then send the surrogates out.

Why aren’t they countering the fake news better either? When Trump just calls it fake news, the left says he is just saying that because he doesn’t like the reporting. His media team needs to prove it. When they post an article that is wrong, usually the truth comes out. Post the fake article, then post the article or statement with the truth (preferably those stories where one media outlets proves another was wrong).

I could go on, but maybe I’ll do a vanity on it in the hopes that someone from Trump’s media team sees it.

Right, get off twitter and be more like W. Being presidential is more important.

Is that you Karl Rove?

Trump didn’t become a billionaire, nor POTUS, by following such advise....

Yeah, Trump should use the GWB method of grabbing the ankles, cuz that worked so well.

The press and never trumpers are gonna hate, tweets or no tweets.

[I’m ok with his twitter usage, but some of what he posts does come across strange. ]

Yes, they do sound strange. Sometimes, that’s the point!

It gets people talking. Especially the media. No matter if it’s good or bad, it’s still free publicity.

Marketing 101

It’s always the stupidest, most absurd commercials on TV that you remember. Not the plain, matter-of-fact ones.

................................................................
BULL! He is going directly to the people by the only means possible. The MEDIA is so slanted there is NO attempt at factual reporting. President Trump is not going to whimper and say nothing like President Bush did. We elected a FIGHTER and I love his tweets which let WE THE PEOPLE in on what he is thinking. You don’t have to agree, but you do know what he is thinking. A far cry from the PC disease which has consumed this country thanks to Obama and Clinton pushing their Communist agenda.

His tweets are serving his purpose.....to get the word out to the people. There are too many “holier than thou” types on here.
Think about the Marine saying, “We break things. It’s our job.”
I happen to think President Trump is enjoying breaking things so he can rebuild this country, turning it back in the right direction. He won by doing it his way. Why should he listen to the losers who are always telling him what he is doing wrong?

Because sometimes those losers are correct. Maybe its time for a little less breaking and a little more rebuilding?

Isn’t life miserable walking around all the time in a stuffed shirt?

You’re like Charles Krauthammer trying to judge the current game by the rules of base ball or tennis.

There is a new game called Drain the Swamp. All your stuffiness no longer applies

It occurred to me this morning that draining the swamp might actually be problematic because it violates the wetlands preservation laws.

(are you Charles Krauthammer? )

It’s like the pitching term ‘effectively wild.'

I remember a pitcher like that when I was in Babe Ruth leagues in Michigan. He had a streaking fastball but irregular control. I always hated to come to the plate when he was pitching. I had/have a small enough strike zone to begin with and always felt that facing him was like facing a drunk with a gun.

I remember one pitch that came right at my head and, when I went down to avoid it, it struck the bat that had been over my shoulder ... if I hadn't been down on the ground, it would have been an easy single. As it was, I was thrown out at first by the center fielder.

He always walked/hit a lot of batters, but when he was on, he threw easy strikes .. we were all standing so far away from home plate that you almost couldn't reach the pitch with a four-foot 2x4.
