I remain unconvinced that this is as it seems.

It’s possible and likely given the big picture that it’s all a ruse.

We have known since Aristotle what constitutes “virtue” and with Christianity we added the three theological virtues which made the West’s “Justice” System the best in the history of mankind. There is no possibility of a better, more equal, more perfect “justice” system than the Founders gave us based on the Christian concepts of the Nature of Man and God’s Laws.

That being said, the nature of man is evil—a proven fact, just as the Bible says—and without virtue formation in childhood (even with it) man will be evil——especially if the culture (”justice” system) becomes a vice system and promotes vice and evil, degrading behaviors which strip dignity and humanity from people.

With abortion (baby-killing), we train little girls that it is “good” to kill your own genetic offspring: this destroys their virtue formation and maternal instincts—warps whole perception of “life” and destroys the Christian worldview completely. We even now teach little children that two males (or more) sodomizing one another is “Good” and is “Love” when it is an abomination, dehumanizing and degrading, meaningless behavior. It completely destroys the possibility of a Christian worldview (virtue) and the ability to understand “life” and character, etc.

Without virtue, there is no freedom (possibility of inner control of base emotions). Vice is slavery and addiction to outside forces-—you will always be tempted to do evil and you can’t resist it.

Since 1970, our culture became a Vice System—one which destroys virtue formation in children (on purpose), so when most people will do the easy thing to make a living, and get ahead-—it will become the norm and collapse the system eventually.

We are in decline and will collapse if we do not turn back to God (virtue). Without God, there is no Good and Evil; everything is permissible. The Postmodernist Marxists knew that and that is why they banned Christianity by the 60s in the US—before in Europe—so they could collapse Western Civilization.

We need to reclaim our true “Justice” System to get virtuous people (put treasonous justices and lawyers in prison)....otherwise, it will corrupt all the children and destroy virtue formation (the Christian worldview). The Age of Reason and Modern Science and creation of the US Constitution was only possible with a Christian worldview.

I think they (Rice & Yates) were using Flynn to make a Russian/Trump collusion case.

Trump did the right thing for the time being.

I sure as hell trust Flynn more than Rice and Yates.

I don't think it's over.

I have a VERY hard time believing this BS.

What we DO KNOW—Obambi fired him because he is anti-muzzie, and our government in general is FAR, FAR too penetrated by the headchoppers.
OUR left has been screaming for war—with the Russians (!) since the election, and this is a part of it.
Despite our MANY differences, we (USA and Russia) are on the same side in the new fight. (Syria to the contrary, but Russia needs a warm-water port and has since forever.)

How does a guy spend his entire adult life a commissioned soldier and still compromise himself and his position so completely and cavalierly? When a tree bears bitter fruit, you wonder about the tree. Michael Flynn clearly used his position to enrich himself, and he actively violated policy to do so. He failed to get permission to receive money from a foreign and hostile power, and then engaged in deception to conceal his conduct.

Lots of assumptions but little evidence. We have yet to hear Flynn's side of the story. I will withhold judgment until then,

The firing of Flynn has put the blood in the water fueling the frenzied attacks by the MSM and the Dems. It has helped them perpetuate the phony narrative of collusion with the Russians by the Trump campaign and empowered them to believe they can take down other Trump appointees. They tried it with Bannon and Sessions to no avail.

If Trump had to do it all over again, I wonder if firing Flynn was the wisest thing to do. The IC did not like Flynn because they deemed him to be a hothead and loose cannon. Obama didn't like him because of his outspoken disagreement with the policies on fighting radical Islamic terrorism and the reaching an agreement with Iran, which the Russians and Chinese were signatories. If Flynn was in the pocket of the Russians, why would he publicly be against the Iran agreement?

The control of the NSC is now back in the hands of the Establishment. Is that a good thing?

Gee, another Utah Republican Mormon (ex in this guy’s case) ripping the Trump Administration. Shocking.

More importantly, it has been reported that Flynn was paid by RT, not by the Russian government. How is this different than being paid by the BBC, which is funded by the British government? Oh, because the BBC does not spew propaganda? Yeah right. Anyway, if we are going to start saying that accepting funding from commercial entities funded by foreign governments is to be treated the same as being on the foreign government’s payroll, that will be a very significant change in existing law / regulation, and should be adopted through proper means rather than by vilifying this man after the fact.

Also, a fair-minded observer looking at the Obama Administration’s ties to the major news networks might contend that they are / were controlled by the US Government. CBS News President David Rhoade’s brother Ben was a top advisor to Obama. ABC News President Ben Sherwood’s wife was a special advisor to the president. There was ABC’s Claire Shipman married to Jay Carney. There was CNN’s Virginia Moseley married to the Deputy Secretary of State, Tom Nides. And of course there was NBC’s Andrea Mitchell married to the head of the Fed. What would people say if these same kinds of connections with so pervasive between RT and the Russian Government. Maybe they are, IDK. But the point is the absolute, ridiculous hypocrisy and absence of context. Adding to that, as another poster pointed out, is the vast number of ex-military and ex-goverment types working for the Saudis, including for ARAMCO, which is owned by the Kingdom. This type of work has never been treated as work for the Saudi government, as far as I know.

Oh by the way, Flynn had extensive back and forth with the DIA about his RT work and the issue is that he should have also / alternatively cleared it with the Dept. of the Army. Whatever. To me, this is a politically-motivated hatchet job.

I am not saying he was the best pick for National Security Advisor. But that is a separate issue from all the personal attacks on the man.

Thoughtful article. When it comes to character, there is no such thing as a ‘little’ lie.

Lots of emotion and suppositions with few facts. The only thing we know for sure is that Flynn lied to the VP. The rest is under investigation.

How the Clintons Sold Out U.S. National Interests to the Putin Regime

"On June 29, 2010, three weeks after Rosatom proposed to Uranium One, Bill Clinton keynoted a seminar staged by Renaissance Capital in Moscow, a reputedly Kremlin-controlled investment bank that promoted this transaction. Renaissance Capital paid Clinton $500,000 for his one-hour speech."

While CFIUS evaluated Rosatom’s offer, Clinton Cash author Peter Schweizer observed, “a spontaneous outbreak of philanthropy among eight shareholders in Uranium One” began. “These Canadian mining magnates decide now would be a great time to donate tens of millions of dollars to the Clinton Foundation.”

"Clearly" ... Bill and Hillary ... until these two are swinging from ropes, no time should be wasted investigating anyone else.

>>with Christianity we added the three theological virtues which made the West’s “Justice” System the best in the history of mankind.

That makes the antics at the AFA even more ironically egregious.

Back in the 60's, I remember the AFA Chapel used to be a landmark that represented something.

Today - it represents the little more than the syncretic worship of technology.

Shouldn't be surprising the south gate of the AFA is within spitting distance of the mega "church" farce concocted by...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ted_Haggard

All in the back yard of "conservative" Colorado Springs - where Focus on the Family's primary accomplishment appears to have been propping up the facade that the occupant of the White Hut was a Christian.. in between family visits to Bohemian Grove.

Odd how none of the parties above seemed to be aware of the thinking and intent of Jefferson and Co.:

"...who, being themselves but fallible and uninspired men, have assumed dominion over the faith of others, setting up their own opinions and modes of thinking as the only true and infallible, and as such endeavoring to impose them on others, hath established and maintained false religions over the greatest part of the world, and through all time;

...

that it is time enough for the rightful purposes of civil government, for its officers to interfere when principles break out into overt acts against peace and good order; and finally, that truth is great and will prevail if left to herself, that she is the proper and sufficient antagonist to error, and has nothing to fear from the conflict, unless by human interposition disarmed of her natural weapons, free argument and debate, errors ceasing to be dangerous when it is permitted freely to contradict them. "
