Parents sometimes have so little control over what their kids are exposed to.
Take the TV shows that push the gay and tranny lifestyle on regular family shows. The networks are complicit in normalizing a degenerate behavior that isn’t natural except for possibly a very tiny percentage of the population. For the rest it is a lifestyle choice just as dressing like a Goth or being trendy.
The FCC should never have allowed this stuff on TV to be aired as how normal people live. In the past they would show it as how Gay people live and that how they lived as normal as they could under the circumstances but now, because so many in Hollyweird are choosing the gay lifestyle, they are pushing it just a normal thing in any home or office.
I don’t think many adults really care what other adults do in private. We do care when it’s being shoved down the throats of impressionable kids who don’t know any better and who are being socially programmed to believe being Gay is a cool alternative to a normal straight lifestyle.
I don’t understand why their isn’t a huge movement to put pressure on the FCC to pull and ban every show that shows the gay lifestyle as being normal when anyone with two brain cells knows it isn’t in any way normal for the vast majority of the population.
Forgive my rant but this is one of my pet peeves about our degenerate and depraved society at the moment and who is pushing it for purely selfish reasons.
Well, my $0.02 is that the exercise of Christian faith needs to become something more resolute (or stern, as they would say of the old Calvinists)... far more, in order to honor the Lord.
God never sends a test to Christians that can’t be surmounted through the mercy and grace of God. They may wobble, trip, and stumble but will never permanently fall.
We’ve been coasting on Christianization. God didn’t knock a boulder out of the mouth of a tomb almost 2000 years ago to give us a polite religion.
Violent/forceful men take hold of the kingdom of God, and it has been advancing by violence/force.
This is what ultimately happens to Satan’s forces before God’s forces. But we have to make sure that we have God’s forces, and not just another segment of Satan’s. A Christianized world that isn’t actually Christian is that latter, sad thing. Satan won’t cast out Satan.
I’m basically hoping to say, not that it isn’t distressful to watch this happen (because it’s happening to humans, which were made in God’s image), but that if we want to see victory here, we need to recover a stance of individual, personal (as well as collective) directness with the Lord.
I don’t go for Christianity that gets all gloom and doom because nominal Christians are not panning out.
The way to get the control is to get the whole family on board with the Lord. Even little kids should understand that the world is polluted and needs the love of God. And engage in edifying activities.
