I can imagine how furious Ivanka and her dad were at the sight of the dead babies

Upset Ivanka and I’ll bomb you.
Trump’s new foreign policy?

how do you spell cockamamie? Oh, I did it right. Whole thing sounds seriously cockamamie to me:

Cockamamie definition, ridiculous, pointless, or nonsensical: full of wild schemes and cockamamie ideas.

Are the Trumps playing (with) us? Or just the press?

Startlingly enough, many folks right here so.

They hate Ivanka and Jared with a passion, and when you ask them why, they can’t list a single thing they have done to influence Trump or Congress into doing something bad.

Here they buy into the idea Ivanka ordered the attack on Syria.

Erik probably meant this innocently, but he really shouldn’t saddle his sister with something like this. There’s no way his dad would attack another nation based solely on his daughters desire.

This isn’t Harod. This is Donald Trump.

This is blathering nonsense.

I’m giving her a pass because of how good looking she is. If she was ugly, I’d be calling her Amy Carter by now.

President Trump needs to invite Amy Carter into the White House to discuss nuclear proliferation.

At worst, your dead on target. That is the worst case scenario too. I’m not convinced it’s the real scenario, but you’ve laid it out there clear as can be.

Not sure why folks can’t grasp that.

Uncle Miltie: it temporarily puts us on the side of the Sunni Axis.
We're also on the same side as ISIS. A Trump-ISIS coalition to take out Assad?

From the original article...

“He also confirmed that President Trump’s decision to bomb a Syrian airbase to punish President Bashar al-Assad for a nerve gas attack last week was influenced by the reaction of his sister Ivanka, who said she was “heartbroken and outraged” by the atrocity”

So a heresy remark about being “influenced “ turns into “convinced”.

This is like the journalist version of the Telephone Game.

What’s going to happen when a world event coincides with her being in PMS

Trump leaked the claim to get the media off Ivanka's back.

Pathetically, he also fooled the Prison Planet and Paulites.

Do they have similar outrage over the 50+ million abortions in the US since Roe vs Wade? Will we see missile strikes on clinics performing partial birth abortions? Will Planned Parenthood face any penalties for selling baby parts? The death of babies in a chemical weapon strike is offensive. However, not more offensive than any other abuse and murder of children.

I support Trump and suspect that there is benefit in the missile strike; however, selective outrage over war casualties to justify foreign military adventures is not encouraging. I love my country right or wrong, but I don’t praise or advocate for wrong acts by my country’s government officials.

Not one FR positive comment on this so far.

If this is true.. if the reporter used the right words to describe what Ivanka actually did (reporters tend to use their words in place of the person’s words... and that can change the whole article and the meaning of what a person did/said)... if this is fair reporting.. which is usually not the case.. then Eric should not be telling any such thing to the public or especially to a reporter. Keep things like this quiet.. for the public does not know what to do with Trump’s daughter, advising him on military strikes due to her ‘feelings’. Eric probably wanted to point out the good his sister could be in advising... but it won’t be looked at that way.. it would end up being a weakness laid on Trump by the left.

Ivanka is better served walking and sitting by her father’s side.. if she is to be there for him.

She’s an accomplished lady but has ZERO experience in foreign affairs or military operations. The Middle East is, and always has been, a mess. She has no idea what a decision like this can lead to or what the ramifications/consequences of this type of military action might be.

Imagine what we would be saying if Malia or Chelsea had influenced a similar decision.

“I don’t like the fact that it temporarily puts us on the side of the Sunni Axis. But next, Trump can bomb some more Sunni idiots who need it, and that takes care of that issue.”

Feel free to read the whole paragraph.

Not the way such decisions should be made.

That wasn't the basis for the decision.

Trump is probably getting a good laugh at those that think it was the reason he made the decision.
