President Donald Trump's 33-year-old son Eric told Britain's The Daily Telegraph that his sister Ivanka, rather than her husband Jared Kushner, convinced the U.S. head of state to launch 59 Tomahawk missiles in retaliation for a sarin gas attack last week.
"Ivanka is a mother of three kids and she has influence. I'm sure she said 'listen, this is horrible stuff.' My father will act in times like that," Eric Trump told The Telegraph in an interview at the Trump Turnberry golf resort in Ayrshire, Scotland.
"He also confirmed that President Trump's decision to bomb a Syrian airbase ... was influenced by the reaction of his sister Ivanka, who said she was 'heartbroken and outraged' by the atrocity," the British paper reported.

These kids are structured to compliment President Trump. They’re an asset to him. The media needs to stop causing trouble....but what’s new??
I voted for Trump, not his family members. He gave every indication that they were going to remain in their business careers. But now nepotism is becoming a growing problem in the administration. I guess he changed his mind, like he does with many other things.
Trump is smart and will never surround himself with yes men bobble head dolls. He seems to appreciate smart people with differing views and arguments which enables him to make the best decision.
Obviously he respects Ivanka’s opinion.
It is really difficult though to work with the boss’s kids.

Always ignore headlines and read the actual quotes carefully noting where the quotation marks are in these stories. There is some very creative quoting and wording and ellipses below. Why not just put one quote of the entire discussion in full context?

You must have missed the president's statement after the missile strikes on the Syrian base where he went on and on about little babies, beautiful little babies.
Kid yourself all you care to, but this emotional reaction by who knows how many close to the president definitely played a significant part in the decision, which was a complete reversal of what he had said all through the campaign.
Maybe you need to find a video of his statement and watch it.

They're an asset to him as family and as supporters, but they are not an asset to him in policymaking and decision making. They have no experience or background in major policy matters a president must deal with, and they will end up harming him and his presidency because they are leftists, and Trump did not campaign as a leftist.
Little Chelsea Clinton was gave Bill advice at the negotiating table with Rabin and Arafat for a Palestine two-state solution. I recall the Toon bragging about it LoL.
