Larry (and I) know how security clearances work. They are very compartmentalized, for the most part. I think only one of them is very overarching; even the Presidential Daily Briefing is more compartmentalized. If Bannon was taken off one project, he'd drop that clearance. He might still hold 2, 20, or 200 more.

If the Kushners receive NSC briefings and reports, and they are not members of the NSC, then that is a huge problem and breach of security.
They are not members so they are not able to attend NSC meetings.
What you seem to be saying is that the President will be disclosing to them matters of National Security. I think he can do that legally because he is the decision-maker. He has a right to choose whoever he wants, both formally and informally, to advise him.
I am aware that Gorelick has access to Kushner and that is disturbing. Gorelick is a Harvard law creature and well-connected in Manhattan Jewish circles. NY top tier Jewish society is very liberal and often anti-Zionist. I think we will have to Trust the President on how to handle all that. So far there is no doubt he has the interests of patriots and conservatives at heart.
I don’t love that at all but I just wonder if she isn’t being used to play others. Trump used Paul Manafort, who had quite a bit of baggage, to good effect, leading up to the Republican Convention and then switched to a different less controversial team.
Perhaps he has a task Gorelick is best suited for, certainly he cannot be unaware of her associations.
Like I said...if you can’t see the problem with the Prince and Princess... then no amount of explaining will get you to see.

Jaime Gorelick is tasked with a duty that amounts to keeping Prince and Princess out of jail..and out of being involved with impeachment proceedings.
It is a HUGE responsibility to keep them on the right side of the law during the next 4 years.
We have already seen Ivanka change her mind from the first Gorelick advice..by now becoming a Federal Employee.
This advisor is a CRUCIAL one for the future of Prince and Princess...and Trump had to have approved Gorelick for that role.
