Good catch. I also notice inconsistent reporting by so-called "reporters". The suspects allegedly forced their way in. Well, maybe the Marine's son allegedly shot them. Or perhaps they were allegedly shot with a gun. Who knows? Certainly not the brain-dead reporter.

One is allegedly dead and the other alleged perp is alleged in critical condition. :)

I think the original article is now updated, but when I first read this it sounded fishy and I looked at some other articles about it. On KSL the police say it was NOT random and they refused to disclose the relationship of the suspects to the residents. Elsewhere it was reported that at least one or all of the occupants were parolees or on probation. And in one, I’d have to look, but I think it said charges were pending. (I’m traveling now, just getting back on the computer, not time to dig out the links. Anyway, it clearly wasn’t an innocent home invasion.)
