U. S. policy has been to let the children of illegal aliens attend our schools.
It’s rather a mute point if this guy checks their papers or not.
Do I agree with that policy? No! None the less, that has been the policy for decades.

Criminally negligent. If I were the girl's parents, I'd file a huge lawsuit against the school district, the administrator and Baraq Hussein 0bama for negligence and dereliction in enforcing the law.
