Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) on Thursday warned House Republicans that their bill to replace ObamaCare won't pass in the Republican-controlled Senate in its current state.

Cotton tweeted that the bill needs "major changes," and he cautioned Republicans against acting "like Dems" by voting before a budget estimate is completed.

Good. Nothing less than full repeal. Enough of this replacement crap. No Republicans voted for Obamacare, they were shut out of the process, so let the Dems own this s—t.

Good for Cotton.
He was the only Senator to vote against the Corker bill that approved Obama’s Iran “deal”.

The U.S. government needs to get out of the insurance business.

Open the industry up and get the he11 out of the way.

Hand out some tax credits if need be and let the people make their own decisions.

Gotta replace but not with government controlled obama care lite. Repeal and fix the system already failed through previous government intervention. Allow those on new plans to keep them for a few years but set up better alternatives so they move off them at their own choosing. For low incomes move then in to Medicaid and let the states dictate. Not the federal governments concern to manage.

Just do a simple 1-page bill that repeals every word of the ACA and cancels every waiver, regulation, and executive order regarding this turd with an effective date of December 31, 2017.

Then pass tort reform, interstate commerce, and legislation that says illegals only get emergency care long enough to survive deportation.

Then tell every insurance company and healthcare provider in America that you’re free to run your business the way you want.

Next?

Seems to me you can repeal through reconciliation a bill that was totally passed through reconciliation.

Those "better alternatives" being what exactly?

Insurance is the problem: the House leadership wants to “protect” insurance under the guise of fulfilling promises.

Senator Cotton was my first choice to be DJT’s running mate. I expect him to play a much higher and more visible role with time.

It wasn’t totally passed through reconciliation.

“ObamaCare was passed, using the original legislative vehicle, at 1:38am on 12/24/09 with 60 votes in the Senate (vote totals: 60/39/1).”

“The House then approved that Senate Bill without changes; and in February 2010 created a secondary bill which created the opportunity for the Senate to modify ObamaCare using “reconciliation” for a lower vote threshold of 51 votes.”

Starting over is a great idea.
Step 1- Remove and replace Paul lyin’ Ryan
Step 2- Remove and replace Mitch ‘the cuck’ McConell.
Then we can get down to business.

I’m typing this real extra slow so all you Congress critters and Senators will understand.

REPEAL

Repeat - REPEAL

Get your greedy government fingers out of health care once and for all.

Let free market forces prevail (remember them ???) - like it used to be.

We are tired of useless, dictatorial and burdensome edicts being forced down our collective throats. Your thirst for control of money and our lives is way past being overbearing and irritating.

Geez - anybody else anybody else as sick and tired of this as I am?

Tom Cotton failed miserably to stand in the gap on ObamaCare funding to avoid “Shutting down” the government when it was first passed. He has no money to put where his mouth is. I voted for this man and have been sorely disappointed ever since. Says the right things and votes with Mitch.
