Growing up in Texas, I used to watch Alex Jones on public access TV and listen to him on shortwave. He was talking about this stuff in the late 90s. He would talk about how the NSA was listening in on our phone calls during the Clinton administration and people would tell him to put on his tin foil hat.
My, my, my how that tables have turned. And I am just as guilty as the rest for laughing him off. I had a relative who worked for Texas Instruments swear to me the HD TVs could listen to you. This is in the early 2000s. I just laughed at him.
