Wrong on two counts IMO, Laz:
1) Though Barry’s role is central, he’s not the actual mastermind—if that’s what you are suggesting, and
2) Pence is very close with Ryan (and thus Priebus), and his public beef about Flynn was instrumental on that level. He is GOPe through and through. As well, he hasn’t been a target of the early leaks, so I see him more as complicit than impending victim.

The Rats are so sure about this because they KNOW the Russians have been helping them for the last 70 years until recently. Since they aren’t helping the Rats anymore they are convinced they must be helping the GOP.

The “hack” they suffered could have been part of a plot by the Deep State, but realistically all of these DC-type organizations have likely been hacked many times.

I wish I could say this would never happen, but given the sentiments of the GOPe and RINOs, this is a plausible sequence of events.
Just wondering: where is Karl Rove these days and why is it we never hear about him like in years past? He’s done a good job of keeping his fingerprints off of anything anti-Trump but it seems likely he’s had his nose deep in it from the beginning.
