Free trade, Ben? What an oxymoron! We have manipulated trade and the citizens of our nation are always the losers!

My 4 word commentary on President Trump's address last night, and his job in office thus far:

I LOVE MY PRESIDENT!

It's Morning in America, once again!

The sun is just over the horizon.

Thank you President Trump!!!!

God bless America.

Good article, but he is dead wrong about this:

“His stance on immigration from this hemisphere is wrong. We need those workers desperately. “

We do not need those workers desperately. They are a luxury for cheaper lawn and child care and for people who remodel their bathrooms and kitchens often. But the “need” is far from desperate.

If only Mr. Stein had seen the light earlier. His failure to do so, spoke volumes about him.

The same could be said of St. Paul, Whittaker Chambers and Ronald Reagan, all late converts to their causes. It is often the late converts who are are most thoroughly convinced, because they know precisely why they had been wrong and what convinced them of the truth. We should always be wary of insincere late joiners who will ride the bandwagon as long as it is convenient, but without converts our political causes will never succeed. I think Ben Stein's praise of President Trump's speech before Congress speaks volumes about him.

Your description reminds me of David Horowitz, a red diaper baby, who is now one of the most ardent advocates for Liberty and the American way of life.

I hate the expression, "free trade." Nothing is "free."

"Fair trade"suggests a win-win for both parties.
