It’s un-American and sad but this is what happens when America-hating Marxists manage to get themselves elected. It sounds like those street signs could stand a good coat of graffiti.
Seeing as it’s Chicago, the signs will probably be riddled with bullet holes within a couple of weeks.
Given Chicago’s current high crime rate, naming streets for violent Marxist thugs is probably appropriate.
