California’s Biggest Security Threat? Climate Change, Says Former Adviser
KQED News, San Francisco ^ | February 20, 2016 | Sarah Craig

Charges of Russian meddling in the 2016 election, cybersecurity and terrorism are topics that have recently dominated the national security conversation.

But according to Richard Clarke, it’s climate change that poses an imminent threat to our nation’s shores.

Clarke is the former U.S. national security adviser who gained notoriety after criticizing the George W. Bush administration for the war in Iraq, saying Bush is guilty of war crimes.

Clarke is concerned about chaos that will occur not just in California, but around the globe from rising seas that could displace millions of people.

I'm sure he will be well received in wacky CA. I'm just glad he's not on the NSC as he likely would have been if Hillary was elected.

(BTW, the author of this article can't be considered objective either. Her credentials include "working on Dreams of Dust, a multimedia project that documents stories of climate migration in California’s Central Valley. Her recently completed projects include Faces of Fracking, an investigation into the impact of fracking on the people and places of California, and The Gulf Disaster, stories on the lives of fishermen in the aftermath of the BP spill. Her work has been published by KALW, Grist.org, High Country News, OnEarth Magazine, Earth Island Journal, Yes! Magazine, and others.")

We were supposed to have been drowned in 2010 from those rising oceans.

What happened, Al Gore?

Islamoterrorists are already “displacing” millions of people around the globe. This jerk might want to turn off Algore’s movie and buy a newspaper or something. Get away from fantasy and take in a little dose of reality.

Prove you can make the Climate “stable” or STFU.

These people must believe that the Fleas on a Dog can turn it into an Alligator.

Climate change is where the easy big money is in exchange for goals and accomplishments which need never be realized to succeed. It is truly bizarre.

Since climate change is taking precedence over keeping the forest healthy and the dams maintained I would say that climate change is very dangerous California.

That’s exactly what I’d expect an adviser to crooked politicians to say.

To me this is a comforting story. It demonstrates once again how left wing politicians consistently appoint people who are idiots to positions of responsibility. If the left didn’t have such an affinity to morons they would be a much greater threat to our society.

"We were supposed to have been drowned in 2010 from those rising oceans."

If one of their dam breaks, the climate changers will declare that as vindication of their 2010 wild claims.

The object of this is to divert attention from California’s leadership (and also citizenry) failures.

The biggest threat to Cali is the band “Governor Moonbeam & the Lefty Loons” that worship “settled science” and ignore the clear historical weather patterns in Cali which is drought, flood, drought, flood, drought, flood......

My sister is from CA. I told her during a recent visit that global warming is a hoax. She was aghast. She claimed oceans were actually rising on the Calif beaches. She’s a Republican.
