Demarco Parham, one of two suspects in a Fulton County home invasion, is in police custody.

Sandy Springs Police have charged him with armed robbery, aggravated assault, and motor vehicle theft among other charges.

It was early Monday morning when police say a couple was awakened to the sound of their alarm.

The couple's home security system indicated that a basement door was opened. While his spouse called 911, the man went down to investigate.

The man then heard the garage door open and went out to see what was going on.

When he came out of the house, one of the gunman fire a gun toward him. The victim ducked and went back to the house. He was not injured.

The couple's blue 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee was stolen from the house.

"We're very concerned about this," said Sandy Springs Police Sgt. Sam Worsham. "We're concerned about the safety of all of our citizens. We're doing the investigation, will try to locate this people involved."

Couple things bother me about this.

You hear noises in the night in your house and the alarm goes off. Do you go unarmed to investigate? I don't. I put on my NVGs, pick up my firearm (safety off) and peek around corners

Second how did the crooks get the car? Were the keys left in it? Did the victims have a key board with the car keys labeled "here I am steal me" on it? One wonders if with this level of cluelessness they voted for Hillary

The picture is one of the crooks who decided to get their welfare directly and bypass the middleman (the government)

The perps didn’t hear the alarm after they broke into the basement? They weren’t concerned about the noise the garage door would make? Have they become so acclimated to prison life that it now longer bothers them? Is prison just another life style?
I would hope the home owner takes some of that expensive alarm money, buys a good gun, and a great dog.

Large are small, the dog is there to wake you up in time to blow the intruder away. The gun is there to make the dog feel safer. :0)

Of all the typos that could have happened, that one says much about the author.

They weren’t concerned about the noise the garage door would make?

They were armed, and they assumed the homeowner wasn't or that they could deal with him if he was. As it turned out they were correct. They would be fatally wrong if they tried that with most of my friends. OTO if they tried it with most of my wife's friends they would be right.

Yep - my alarm went off one night (system glitch) and I went down the hall with my .357 and the hammer back.

Likely hacked the remote start feature—cloned the key fob codes.

cloned the key fob codes

I doubt 0bama's sons have the expertise to do this. The code changes every time you press the button, so you'd have to figure out the pseudo random code generation algorithm for the individual fob.
