There is something uniquely bizarre about the President of a country fighting to provide a better life for the citizens of his country by keeping them out of his country.
Yet that’s exactly what Mexican President Peña Nieto did yesterday, when the government of Mexico announced they would be attempting to keep their own citizens out of Mexico in order to provide them a better life in the U.S.

I’ve long wanted to interview one of these Mexican leaders and ask why they are such failures at governance that they want their citizens to leave their country.
And do they want that to continue until Mexico is uninhabited except for the 40 rich families that run it or exactly what is their end game?
Beachfront property is the most valuable in the world, and Mexico has more per capita than the USA. Mexico is rich in natural beauty and natural resources. It’s citizens are very family oriented and many are very hard workers.
So, what’s the problem? Mexico should be a rich country full of happy citizens. Incredibly poor and corrupted governance is the only answer. Mexico’s problems are not caused simply by having lousy citizens.

Most officials would be ashamed of admitting that they can’t take care of their own citizens, but these are Mexicans. As long as they can pretend they are running the country, when it’s really in the hands of the drug cartels, and they have the billions of US dollars being wired in from the illegals here, they strut around like little Bantam roosters.
