COMEY HAS NO CREDIBILITY ANY MORE
HE SHOULD RESIGN
“Comey is a snake in the swamp.”
I never thought that. First he acted under the direction of his boss Lynch. Then he or both he and Lynch realized that the first statement was close to dishonest and would sway the election toward Hillary, so he or they issued another balancing one.
Comey was in the swamp but not a snake.
This? And somebody leaving a box of chicken on a guy’s car, too? All on the same day?
Didn’t see a lot of coverage of a certain non-profileable type tap dancing on the windshield of a limo during the riots, leaving $70,000 damage on the car.
Yikes.
Inputs is good, too. They’ll be so beside themselves today, they’ll barely notice the Keystone and Dakota pipelines and about a dozen other news events coming from the Oval Office they can’t keep up with.
Well, OTOH, Comey is compromised and disliked by both sides so, he should do as he is told.
If Trump feels he is getting out of line and wants to get rid of him, there won’t be many to support Comey.
I trust the President’s judgement.
I'm going to adopt that position.
I hope the caveat is that he uses everything he knows to assist in the prosecution of Hillary Clinton and anyone complicit in her criminal activities to the fullest extent of the law.
I suspect that Comey might have had a moment of pause when
he contemplated the Clintons’ rise to absolute power. No
sane person who is even a marginally patriotic person could
witness Hillary’s corruption, THEN on top of that her lack
of judgment in keeping the likes of Huma and Anthony Weiner
(of weiner texting infamy) in such close proximity to
sensitive national secrets. Weird at best; and extremely
careless of one who SHOULD know better.
This one leaves me in a state of ambivalence. Comey is deep in the D.C. political slime, but in the end, he appears to be an order-follower not an ideologue. He’s out to feather his own nest and protect himself...he will do the bidding of the one giving the orders...whomever that is. That is where the bulk of D.C. denizens reside, just like in state capitals. He’s a law enforcement bureaucrat, not a crusader. He’s dirty only from feathering his own nest. I suspect in the total range of things that means Trump thinks he’s better off with him and with stability in that agency, instead of creating a level of chaos - even short-term - as is going to happen in many agencies. Keep your wars limited in number, finish one before starting another.
Yeah, he took Obama’s and Hillary’s orders through Lynch last summer. But he also has pissed off the insane crazies on the left as they search frantically for someone here to be “Putin’s lackey.” Keeping them pissed and chasing the ridiculous Putin canard is a definite plus. There’s not a soul on the planet who is armed with more brainpower than Ashley Judd (and that is almost everyone) who buys the Russia idiocy. But that stuff keeps the wahoos growing progressively wackier by the day...which can only help.
" His first run-in came in the mid-1990s, when he joined the Senate Whitewater Committee as a deputy special counsel. There he dug into allegations that the Clintons took part in a fraud connected to a Arkansas real estate venture gone bust. No charges were ever brought against either Clinton, but the scandal would eventually lead to independent counsel Kenneth Starr's probe that would result in the Lewinsky scandal.
" In 2002, Comey, then a federal prosecutor, took over an investigation into President Bill Clinton's 2001 pardon of financier Marc Rich, who had been indicted on a laundry list of charges before fleeing the country. The decision set off a political firestorm focused on accusations that Rich's ex-wife Denise made donations to the Democratic Party, the Clinton Library and Hillary Clinton's 2000 Senate campaign as part of a plan to get Rich off the hook. Comey ultimately decided not to pursue the case. "
Comey has three strikes...
I flat out don’t get this move.
Not an accurate comparison, but when Lyndon Johnson tried to fire J. Edgar Hoover and found it politically unfeasible, he remarked, “Well, better to have him inside the tent p***ing out, than outside p***ing in”.
Comey has angered both sides and right now Trump is dangling him over a precipice. Keep the boss happy, Comey, and he’ll continue to sign your paycheck.
A couple of thoughts:
1. Comey knows where all the skeletons are hidden;
2. Stability when very, very few of Trump's cabinet picks have been confirmed, including Sessions.
The easiest way to find out what really happened with the NO INDICTMENT scam is to keep Comey in his job.
The only way the indictment could have been blocked is by real power, not a flunky Att. General and surely NOT an FBI Director. These low lifes do NOT have the kind of power needed to get up in front of Congress and lie.
So WHO DID have the power to block the indictment? There's only ONE answer and you have to go back to Watergate to see a bigger lie than this one. In Watergate, Richard Nixon wanted to hide the break-in. Nixon sacrificed his peons to try and pull off his lie. In No IndictmentGATE, the President wanted Hillary to win. So Hussein ordered NO indictment. The Att General and FBI Director said YES SIR as NONE OF THEM believed Hillary would go down.
Comey is going to find that by staying as FBI Director, the heat is going to be turned up with facts, facts, facts. The Fake News Networks will have to face one of the biggest lies since Watergate as Trump and company drain the swamp.
The MSM is NOT going to tell you it was Obama, it will have to be Trump.
Fortunately, Donald Trump is much brighter than most Americans.
