I still believe that if R Reagan & Co would have followed that strategy in Beirut —after the Marine Barracks fiasco— we wouldn’t be having a lot of these ‘hit & run’ sortees today.
Once the Troglodytes started firing at the INTERNATIONAL rescue teams that were at the Barracks, we could/should have blown the hillside where the snipers were off the face of the earth.
