Lavrov: Kosovo Albanian forces should not be in northern Kosovo
Russian Foreign Minister on Tuesday said that a new war in the Balkans must be avoided, and that Albanian forces should not be in northern Kosovo and Metohija.

Speaking during his annual news conference in Moscow, Lavrov touched on the latest tensions between Belgrade and Pristina.
"The forces of Kosovo Albanians should not be present in the north of Kosovo and Metohija, which is inhabited by Serbs," said Lavrov.
He also commented on the talk of "a war in the Balkans."
"I hope everyone understands that a new armed conflict in the Balkans must not be allowed to happen," Lavrov stressed.

Sergei Lavrov also said on Tuesday that tensions have been ramping up drastically in the Balkans, and stressed he is in contact with Belgrade.
He reiterated that an armed conflict must not be allowed.
"Concerning the situation regarding the Belgrade-Pristina (sic) train, Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic called me right after these events and we analyzed what actually took place," Lavrov said, according to Sputnik.
"The EU must calm this situation and act in such a way that the agreements reached between Belgrade and Pristina with the mediation of Brussels are fulfilled," he said.
These agreements, Lavrov continued, speak about the freedom of movement, and that the Kosovo Albanian police should not be present in the north.
According to the Russian minister, tensions are also caused by the policy of those who are imposing the so-called European values, "in a new, modern, post-Christian package," on all nations in the Balkans.

It was our original involvement in Kosovo that poisoned Russian-US relations for years to come.
I noticed. Quite eye-opening when the Bolshevik (communist) Revolution started in Russia to wipe Christianity off the face of the map. Funny how Dostoevsky stated that without God everything is permissible and Putin is just figuring out that the destruction of Russia, was the destruction of Christianity. The alcoholic Russians weren’t even bothering to reproduce.
Christianity created the most, rational, just, free, virtuous cultures in all of history. Only Christianity is in line with Natural Law (logic, science, reason).
Without Right Reason, there is no “Just Laws”—only chaos and vice. Vice is slavery and non-virtuous cultures always collapse. Putin must want his people to flourish and not die out like Europeans are doing— the nihilism of communism/Marxism (no Christianity).

The Serbs HAVE THE RIGHT to their own country, and Kosava is part of that country...no one has the right to effectively sever it. And if the Muslims there don’t like it, THEY CAN LEAVE or they can stay and TOLERATE IT. No different than us being forced to tolerate 2,922 days of Clinton/Obama.
And if they take up arms...then they deserve whatever consequences they get.
Kosovo is Serbia.
A meeting or two between Trump and Putin will fix that situation and restore it to what it should have always been...which is just what you said.
