(CNSNews.com) – As the Obama Administration comes to a close, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is pushing ahead with its plan to restrict more federal land from future mining operations by putting 10 million acres in six states off limits.
“As part of its continuing efforts to conserve habitat vital to healthy populations of the Greater Sage-Grouse in the West, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) today announced the draft proposal to withdraw a subset of lands that are sage-grouse strongholds from future mining claims,” read a press release posted on the BLM website on Thursday.

When I saw the headline, I thought “what is #blacklivesmatter(notreally) grousing about now?
The BLM doesn't seem to mind when HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of birds are slaughtered by wind turbines and solar arrays every year.
And how exactly does mining hurt sage grouse?

Please. BLM has long outlived its usefulness.
Disband it. Hand its lands over to the states, or better yet, hand its lands over to individual US citizens.
The Republic would manage to survive without a BLM.
Recall the shameful way they acted in the Bundy fiasco.
Not only withdraw from law but go after every manager level employee as enemy of the Constitution.
The Constitution is very clear in what the US gov is allowed to own and for what purpose.
The entire ‘endangered species’ thing was a scam from its very start. The fed gov using it to amass huge slices of American lands for itself is criminal and should be punished to the harshest extent possible.
Obammy has been doing his best to cripple this country for tbe better part of 8 years.
This is just another step in his treasonous restrictions on harvesting our own natural resources in order to have plenty of production left in the mines & oil fields when his muslim brotherhood completes colonization of the north american caliphate he’s trying so hard to establish.
