“his home city of Chicago” - Funny, he rarely visits his “home” there.

I am sorry and don’t want to delve in profanity but how many times is this asshole going to do any ‘final’ anything, especially when it contains crap like “I’m not going anywhere and the sun shall rise and the seas shall part horseshit?”

If he really wants to speak from his “home city”, I’d recommend Nairobi or Jakarta. Those are where he is from culturally, not Chicago or Honolulu.

I dare anyone to take the Obama drinking game in this speech: every reference to the first person singular or plural requires a shot. I, my, we, mine all require a shot.

Shouldn’t he do his farewell address in his hometown in Kenya?

"to celebrate the ways you've changed this country for the better these past eight years"

The only thing Obama will ever do to change the country for the better is to leave office.

"I'm thinking about them as a chance to say thank you for this amazing journey, to celebrate the ways you've changed this country for the better these past eight years, and to offer some thoughts on where we all go from here," Obama wrote.

5% thanks, 1% examples of ways the country is better off, 50% celebrating the majesty of Obama, 20% lecturing us on electing Trump, 24% lecturing Trump to be like Obama.

“President Obama said he was following the precedent set by George Washington, who penned a farewell address to the American people over 220 years ago.”

Do you think he means the part where Washington said he was determined to retire to private life?

Or the part where Washington said the system of checks and balances and separation of powers within it are important means of preventing a single person or group from seizing control of the country?

Or the part where Washington spoke of his strong support of the importance of religion and morality in promoting private and public happiness and in promoting the political prosperity of the nation? Washington argues that religious principles promote the protection of property, reputation, and life that are the foundations of justice. Washington goes on to say that the nation’s morality cannot be maintained without religion and, since morality is necessary in popularly elected governments, religious principle is vital in maintaining the popularly elected government of the United States.

Truly, President Obama the divider is usurping the name of Washington the unifier.

Can’t wait to see what develops and hits the fan on January 9th. Somehow, there’s always something that further accentuates what a complete failure this traitor has been.
