Thursday on MSNBC, while reporting on a phone-in White House background briefing with officials from the Department of Homeland Security and the State Department about President Barack Obama’s newly announced sanctions on Russia for hacking during the 2016 American presidential election, NBC News chief foreign affairs correspondent Andrea Mitchell said the Obama administration is taking steps to “box in” President-elect Donald Trump so the sanctions are not easily reversible.

No, the entire political system (Republicans, Democrats and the Media) is trying to box Trump into old policies that are proven to be failed policies. I trust that Trump will listen to them about as much as he listened to all the “advice” the media was given him throughout the course of the campaign. My sentiment exactly.
He is not going away even after leaving the office. He will be back to be a community agitator. He, his ilks, and Clintonoids will be vicious and relentless. If they cannot have their way, they are happy to burn everything down.
Only full-fledged civil war inside Dem party could distract them, but they may even win this war. Then back to non-stop attacks.
Hoping that they will fade away in time is too optimistic.
