The White House defended President Barack Obama over the U.S.’s abstention from a UN Security Council resolution condemning Israeli settlements on the West Bank, saying Obama has done “more for Israel” than any other American president.

Members of the White House National Security Council defended the abstention vote on a press call Friday insisting that the United States could not veto the resolution, which they claimed “erodes a foundation for a two state solution.”

The White House said the abstention was consistent with past administrations and while the current administration believes construction of settlements on the West Bank would drum up

That’s like saying the 8th Air Force did more for Germany than any other Air Force.

All this abstention is doing is giving Zero another chance to take a slap at Netanyahu as he walks out the door of the White House. It will have no practical effect on Israel's "settlement" policy in the West Bank. UN resolutions in general restricting Israel's rightful sovereignty over its own territory will not be followed by Israel, nor should they be.

As for the claim that "Obama done more for Israel than any previous US president," I don't see the Obama propagandists in the White House talking about the Iran nuclear deal nor the US's intervention in the Israeli election as part of that record. No, the Obama White House would rather dole out revisionist history than deal with the truth of its lousy record on Israel and the whole Middle East.

That is correct. He personally has set in motion the process of the final Redemption and the coming of the Messiah.

If he knew what he were doing, he wouldn't have done that.

God can always count on the short-sightedness and stupidity of evil. Divine Rectification *is* the natural Law of the universe. Newton was tapped in. So was Rachel.

Obama is a special kind of stupid and evil, so how fitting for him to be the one... responsible. :)

Obama stated from the outset of his administration would put “daylight” between the US and Israel. By that he meant slow alienation of Israel and sucking up to the Islamic/Arabic world. His first trip was to Cairo where he greeted the Islamic world (and the Muslim Brotherhood who, would eventually overthrow the US’ ally Mubarak with Obama’s blessing), and said in a resounding voice, “Salam Alekum” or in other words, (I am from your stock, brothers).

Due to (US) strategic considerations, with an emboldened Iran (which Obama secured) and an out of control Middle East (which Obama fostered) and an ever increasing chaotic world (which Obama created) he had to show the world (the Jewish world) that he was a true “friend” of Israel so they would vote for Hillary. He repeatedly said to Israel (and other allies), “Hey, I've got your back” and “all options are on the table”. Of course these assurances were empty but it sounded good anyways. So Obama significantly;y increased Israel's foreign aid, providing her with partial budgets for the missile/projectile interceptor system developed by Israel, called the "Iron Dome". He also provided Israel with the new F-35 stealth fighter which has many bugs and cost overruns. He hopes Israel will work out the bugs (which they usually do). So on paper, it looks like he is the most generous US President in Israel's history. This is part of the Obamian "smoke & mirrors" methodology. He provided them now with advanced systems (but reneged on the Bunker Buster deal) for one reason and one reason alone:

After enabling Iran to obtain nuclear weapons, he knows Israel will have to use everything in their (partially new) arsenal to prevent Iran from nuking them. So, Mr. President, thanks for the “toys” but no thanks for putting Israel (and her moderate neighbors) up against the wall and soon to be fighting again for survival. Obama came, he endangered and emboldened the West's enemies and then...he left.
