In your first sentence you say you will only believe what is irrefutable, and of course it would be quite nonsensical for anyone to DISBELIEVE what is irrefutable. But in your second sentence you profess to believe that the allegation of ineligibility is a red herring, which is by no means irrefutable and in fact is being refuted at present by a countless number of people including Sheriff Joe.
I used to fully agree with you. This was before I understood the status and the nature of the GOPe. I now know there are most likely quite a few republicans who aware of Obama’s true status from the beginning, and were either too chicken to openly challenge him, or complicit for their own reasons.
If I found out tomorrow that the Bush Family knew everything about Obama’s orgins, but chose to ‘maintain a diplomatic silence’, I would no longer be shocked. Disappointed, but not shocked. I saw how poor sports they were when it came to their efforts to inflict Jeb! on us as the next president. I saw their pettiness, their myopia and their bitterness when we loudly, repeatedly refused Jeb’s offer (threat) to become the nominee. People like Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid must also have known, but have already compromised themselves into the bonds of deceit. They cannot break free now. Too much to lose.
Look now, and you will see John McCain supporting the Dems with their “questions” about the Electoral Votes. Do you think John McCain didn’t already know the dirt about Obama?
I say he did know. If McCain knew the truth, then so did Sarah. Sarah has nothing to gain by exposing the Obama lie.

All this is not moot because a suspected crime of this magnitude, if proven, would have enormous ramifications. Would you reason the same way regarding the suspected crimes of Hillary Clinton and say that since she lost the election that matter is moot and further investigation is a waste of time?

Hopefully you are correct. And when he is finally proven to have been ineligible to be the President it will be because of the tenacity of people such as Sheriff Joe who will be commended for finally bringing the truth to light.
This has no direct affect on Barry and his eligibility to be President. It does go to whether or not a fake document was presented as real, and the entire political class and the media went along with it.

I don’t believe “shame” is something that affects certified psychopaths. But a fraud the magnitude of the one in question should be a violation of numerous Federal laws, and a conviction for such crimes should make Mr. Obama eligible for many years in the slammer.

Obama has been immune to criminal prosecution by law while he is president and the only remedy is for congress to impeach and remove Obama from office.
Arpaio has presented his case to the leaders of Congress and they have flat refused to oppose Obama on the birth certificate issue just like have inexplicably refused to oppose him on anything else.
Just like Hillary Clinton, the only court Obama will ever be tried in is the court of
public opinion.
One thing is for 100% certain, pretty much every single political and media talking head who has ridiculed fly over country “birthers” as nuts and flakes knows for a fact that President Obama’s birth certificate is a fraud and there are serious problems with Obama’s past and yet they still look American straight in the eye to lie and ridicule them for wanting a qualified President to lead the country - something Obama never was.
