a choice that breaks from a modern tradition of featuring images of the White House on the card.

Malia and Sasha dazzle in elegant, embroidered gowns designed by Naeem Khan, that are worth nearly $20,000. Each.
Theres not much of a Christmas-y feel to the card, other than being framed by Christmas holly clipart.
Fittingly, Bill Clinton was the first modern president to use a family photo on a White House Christmas card in 1993. You have to go back to Franklin D. Roosevelt another Democrat to find another family portrait in use.

Oh, just stop it! He IS the Messiah after all.
Mooch looks photoshopped. Face is thin and eyes to squinty.
Got one from president Bush once. I don’t want one from this guy.
These dresses belong to a spirit cooking more than christmas.
These dresses belong to a spirit cooking more than christmas.... If Obama does not want to punish daughters with life, that is...
It’s OK. They have till January 20th to celebrate kawansa.
The whole grifter family should be in prison for their crimes.
Pure Obama, or, in an other word, tacky.
Because that would draw attention to her sister's real name. Boris.
“Looks like the dresses are made from wallpaper, upholstery, and bed linens - in that order.”
I happen to like the Diana Ross look on Michelle. Best picture she has taken in 8 years. The kids look adorable. Obama looks like he can’t wait to finish with this photo session so he can meet Reggie for some lovin.
There’s so much photoshop going on with Michelle that it doesn’t even look like her. Lol
What is wrong with Obama? Look at the over the top grin.
It looks like the Russians hacked this photo op and got Obama high before the shutter snapped.
Michael has a new wig and the daughters don’t look anything like either Barry or Michael.
I’ll break with the crowd here.
That is one of the nicer pictures of the Obama Family I have seen. Can’t believe how tall the Children have gotten.
I know nothing about fashion, but the Dresses look OK to me.
I’m sure Obama’s Fans will love receiving that Card. I received Christmas Cards from the Bush 43 White House, and I was a small Donor at best. Never figured out why.
Hey, c’mon FRiend, don’t insult the memory of Eddie “Rochester” Anderson.
One of the hallmarks of a great comic talent is willingness to share the laughs. Jack Benny must have known he hit gold with his longtime sidekick, who just had to walk into a scene to make folks smile.
Rochester was reputedly the highest-paid black actor in Hollywood at the time — although how much “stuck to his hip” is debatable as he reportedly had a weakness for playing the ponies.
By today’s standards, Rochester was an Uncle Tom. But really? By continuing that old comic tradition of the servant who was smarter than the master?
Those dresses are tasteless rags. They look like they came from clearance at Walmart. Can’t believe they cost $20K! Moochie’s dress looks like curtain fabric covered with chili peppers. The style is very unbecoming to her and is inappropriate for a formal portrait. Whoever set up this portrait has no talent or professional ability.
That was my first thought, too. Any photographer who knows how to photograph groups would have told them that those patterns are too varied and too busy. It is like a surprise snap shot at a party with just whoever happens to be standing together at the time. Too cheap looking for the first family. The price of the dresses just proves that money can’t buy class. I could have put together a better photo with party dresses from a thrift store and my Nikon D90 camera. Would have saved the tax payers a bundle and the fashion designers names could have been “our little secret”.
Barf.

FLOTUS thinks if something is pricey it must be classy.
Those dresses look like crap and the oldest daughter isn’t far from that look. The younger daughter is pretty.
