Sometimes a country has to have a problem this grievous pushed on it before it knows it needs to get serious with the Lord. Introducing religion into the discussion is no help whatsoever!
If we can't discuss the topic, in the secular realm, with the guidance of millenia of civilization, we can't be much of an intelligent species.

we need a solid foundation of people with religious values, getting married, and having lots of children...
I encourage young people of Christian values or conservative Jews to have lots of children, and its up to the rest of us out of our child bearing years to support in every way possible these young families...
