I don’t have a legal mind so please explain to me: what is her legal basis for demanding a recount? She had zero chance of winning any state so why should the taxpayers give her a recount????

Per Pennsylvania regulations, there is only one way remaining for Jill Stein to get a recount in Pennsylvania and it is a complicated process. BillyPenn reports that Stein would have to file for a court appeal and present a “prima facie case” showing that voter fraud took place.
If the courts turn her down (as they should) then neither she nor Hiltery will be able to turn the election. Both PA and MI are locked in for Trump. So if that’s the case, then it begs the question, “What is the real reason she’s doing this?”

One of the biggest problems with the country. The decision from the court depends entirely on if the judge is Republican or Democrat. For this year only the Republican may be a never Trumper so that may come into it. The law is clear though and there is no way they should be granted a recount
The way the courts have been stacked, I do not see this as a difficult task.

The only scenario that makes sense is that she is enriching herself just like Bernie did. There is a disclaimer on her web site that the funds she is raising won’t necessarily be used for a recount.
