Bush is not unlike a lot of politicians. He hears of a new program and wants to be in on the ground floor, with acceptance and implementation.
Doesn’t matter if it really helps or not. He can point to it and say, “Look what I did! I’m the best friend educators and children ever had.”
Doesn’t matter if he’s wrong. By the time folks find out, he’s off to the next higher office.
Luckily, his plans were thwarted. The nation lucked out.
Boy, you’re right about that. Some politicians would want to get in front of a runaway train if someone told them it was the right thing to do. In business too, the name of the game is to jump quick, make sure you get credit, and then move on before any accountability for results can settle in on you.
My wife and I (seriously mostly my wife) have put three millennials through public school. The vast majority of educators are passionate and care about educating children. But, at the end of the day there is no one who cares more about educating your child than YOU!
Parents will always need to take an active role in the education of their children in order to get the most out of any system of education.
The bush family is every bit as Marxist as the Obamas, McCains, Clintons, McConnels, Ryans, Pelosis and Romneys. Bush’s mistakes/errors were only disguised to be such, just like Romney and McCain’s handing of the presidency to Obama...hardly disguised really.
Jeb Bush is financially invested in Common Core and the text book supplier for Common Core. Other RINOs are too.
I home schooled. my kids are stellar... ask Jim.
