We are blessed that he and his family were willing to have his named dragged through the mud to serve the country—as Trump and his family are so willing now.

Laura Ingraham clerked for him a long time ago. Assuming that she holds his values still (I think she does), she might be good for a SCOTUS appointment.

The president appoints the chief justice , is there anything to stop DJT from simply appointing a new chief?

Yeah, no exaggeration there at all. The dems were absolutely vile towards him. But that’s par for the course with them.
He’s a good man and a great American, and I’m glad he’s on our side.

The Lincolnian reference was almost over the top, but if we can put two or three justices like Thomas on the Court, our liberties are safe for the next decade or so.

I’d love to see her and Ann Coulter sitting opposite Sotomayor and Kagan. Check and mate.

If only there were nine Justices like this great man ... it would actually be The Supreme Court for Constitutional issues.
