WASHINGTON (AP) Donald Trump elicited wild cheers on the campaign trail by pledging to drain the swamp in Washington, but the president-elects transition team is populated largely with creatures of the capital, including former federal bureaucrats, think-tank academics, corporate lawyers and special-interest lobbyists.

NBC did the same thing a few days ago—said the government would be full of DC insiders—and people were already quoting it at me. Now AP parroting the same.
On another subtopic, what about Phil Roe somewhere having to do with Obamacare? Congressman from Tennessee, chairman of the physicians group in Congress, introduced a replacement bill, which was defeated.

Very encouraging article.
One of those on the transition team is representative Lou Barletta (PA-11). Up until redistricting gave me a donk rep., Lou was my congressmen.

Barletta is the former mayor of Hazleton PA and very serious about immigration reform. He appeared with Trump on the stump and was one of, if not the first member of congress to endorse Trump. I view his appointment to the transition team as meaning that Trump was not kidding about the wall and/or reforming our boarder security.
Believe me, Kansas ranchers know a whole lot more about draining swamps than Washington lobbyists do.
LOL! Same thing. Been in the business for 20 years.
Quoting the AP with negative BS? I always thought better of you than that. No longer.
