The mug-shot posters, pasted on walls and lampposts around Paris by an activist group during the United Nations climate talks last year, were hardly flattering. They depicted Myron Ebell, a climate contrarian, as one of seven “climate criminals” wanted for “destroying our future.”
But in his customary mild-mannered way, Mr. Ebell, who directs environmental and energy policy at the Competitive Enterprise Institute, a libertarian advocacy group in Washington, brushed it off.
In looking for someone to follow through on his campaign vow to dismantle one of the Obama administration’s signature climate change policies, President-elect Donald J. Trump probably could not have found a better candidate for the job than Mr. Ebell.
Mr. Ebell, who revels in taking on the scientific consensus on global warming, will be Mr. Trump’s lead agent in choosing personnel and setting the direction of the federal agencies that address climate change and environmental policy more broadly.

I always liked rightwing troublemakers. If this is just a taste of the Trump cabinet, I wouldn’t be surprised how far right the rest of them will be.

Regardess if PC global warming had been proven with the consistent results of repeatable, scientific method-based experiments, it remains that the states have never expressly constitutionally delegated to the feds the specific power to regulate, tax and spend for environmental protection purposes.

In fact, the only thing proven about PC global warming is that it is a surefire excuse to win unconstitutional, unaccountable federal funding from the corrupt feds .
So Trump either has to politically “force” Congress to surrender state powers that corrupt Congress has stolen to tax and spend for PC global warming purposes back to the states, or lead Congress to successfully petition the states for an environmental protection amendement to the Constitution.
Likewise for unconstitutional Obamacare.
I have to pinch myself, this feels like a dream. The libs are going to go apoplectic on this one, and Trump has not even been sworn in yet.

What has me skeptical about climate change is just how intolerant the scientific and politic powers have been to any kind of dissent, or even debate.
They try to ruin careers of those with opposing views (and are often successful.)
I know a coordinated effort when I see one. I wonder if global warming and now climate change is being used as a blanket excuse for the radical environmentalist to ban everything.
