Donald Trump’s victory in the US presidential elections is good news for Poland, a senior official from the ruling conservative Law and Justice (PiS) party has said.

He added: “America is our most important political partner, our most important ally, and we are confident that this is a good choice for Poland.”
But according to the Civic Platform (PO), Poland’s largest opposition party, Trump’s victory means “great uncertainty”.
Party spokesman Jan Grabiec told Polish Radio: “We don’t know anything about the shape of US foreign and security policy and there can be no efficiently functioning NATO without an active commitment of the United States.”
He added that if the United States moves towards isolationism and focuses solely on its own problems, rather than those of worldwide significance, there will be a greater sense of uncertainty and a potential destabilization of world peace and order.
“The consequences can be incalculable”, he added. (mk/pk)
Now, the victory of the conservatives in the USA made Germany and France can't come to senses and are in a kind of mourning.
Whatever. Prepare for being spat at as never before.
Poland is a great ally. They loved Reagan and are VERY loyal to the US.
Hopefully Trump will treat them with much deference and I believe he will.

When I went there last year, I fell in love with the Carpathian region in the south, beautiful country there.
I must confess I couldn't sleep a wink at night two days ago watching that marxist CNN. Though it was hard, finally it turned out a precious thing and an added joy to me when seeing the stunned faces of those CNN morons while Michigan was turning Red and then Pennsylvania... PRICELESS!

Which I should have mentioned, given that my Czech grandfather was fluent in Polish and my father was furious when the trucks rolled into Czechoslavia in 1968. :)
The ruling party in Poland is the PiS? That’s almost as bad as the GOPe. :-)
