I would advise any conservative who remains in California to leave as soon as possible. I know that's not practical for many, and I feel for you. But you are in a foreign country, and your government is hostile to you. If you can't change it within the law, then either you have to go outside the law or you have to find another home.

I live in a pinko state. It sucks. I'm surrounded by marxist morons (but I repeat myself ...) who have never met a government regulation or program they didn't like. And they expect me to pay for all that crap. I'm nearing retirement age and I hope to get out of this socialist hellhole the day I pull the plug.
