They expect Trump to concede unconditionally now, before the contest. Meanwhile Clinton does not answer the question and claims that Russia is interfering in the election.

And Trump/Pence have to have been briefed by O’Keefe of what’s coming.

Well, given that Wallace asked the absurd question of Trump in the first place, I guess he thought it might reflect poorly on him if he queried Hillary, “Given your concerns about Russia and Putin meddling in the election, if Mr. Trump wins on November 8th would you blindly accept the results of the election?”
Of course, that didn’t happen, by design or otherwise. But any response along those lines would have had great entertainment value, if nothing else!
