The Republican Party Has Spent $0 On TV Ads For Trump After Spending $42 Million For Romney In 2012

With so much stacked against him, can Donald Trump pull off a miracle and actually win this election?

Right at this moment, things are looking quite grim for the Trump campaign. Following the release of the lewd audio tape, six women have come forward and have accused him of doing the exact sorts of things that he admitted to on that tape, and the mainstream media is going after him with all they've got. Of course the Clintons have done far worse things than Trump has, and that is the case that Trump must make to the American people in the last 25 days of this election. But it certainly isn't helping that Trump is receiving very little help from his own party. In fact, earlier today Politico published an article titled "RNC TV ad spending for Trump: $0," which documented the fact that the Republican National Committee has not spent a single penny on television advertising for Trump so far in 2016.

If the Republican National Committee had treated past candidates similarly, this wouldn't be an issue. But as Politico has pointed out, that definitely is not the case.

In 2004, the committee spent $18.2 million on independent expenditures — or IEs, in campaign parlance — boosting George W. Bush's reelection bid. In 2008, the RNC's IE spending surged to $53.5 million in support of John McCain's campaign against Barack Obama. And in 2012, the RNC spent $42.4 million on IEs boosting Mitt Romney or opposing President Obama — with nearly 80 percent of the spending occurring before mid-October.

By contrast, this cycle the RNC has spent only $321,000 on independent expenditures attacking Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. And all of that spending occurred last fall — before Trump had emerged as the leader for the GOP presidential nomination.

So the Ads you see are paid for by Trump.

All the big money is with Hillary.

I don’t think anything looks grim at all. They shot their wad, no one is listening anymore. All the new news these next week is going to be about Clinton. #hillarygropedme

You would think the light bulb in their pea brains would go on, with seeing how he’s beating her without spending a lot of money. The only problem is, they are in cahoots with the dims.

I can’t wait to see him wreck their gravy train when he gets in office, and makes them actually do something for someone besides themselves.

What a dismal site this article comes from. Never-Trump to the max, All Hail Paul Ryan, I’m sticking with the party leadership. These are the people worshiping at the altar of Global orthodoxy. They think the party is right to be clutching her pearls and holding aside her skirts.

Trumps independently paid-for ads are much more effective than the pitifully few RNC ads. All they have accomplished is losing the financial and volunteer support of conservative voters when they run their usual Democrat Lite candidate next time.

Probably from both sides if someone actually looked in to it. I wouldn’t put it past the gopE, as “offended” as they are, that their base has basically told them to shove it. Just imaging if they could get over themselves and come together like the dnc does. Doesn’t matter what the dnc can’t-idate does, they defend them to the end. Even to the point of the absurd, but coalesce, they do.

The current Republican Party is probably saving what cash it has for liquidation expenses. There won’t be much use for it after November 8.

Wait until the day after the election with a Trump victory. I wonder how many of them will act like they were always on Trump’s side. Personally, I don’t think Trump will let it slide, win or lose. Those in his party that fought against him will have a very big fight on their hands, and Trump will be supported by vast numbers of people.

I really don’t think the GOPe gets how mad we are over being promised one thing during an election and then not following through after being sworn in.

If Trump loses the Republican Party will bear a large share of the responsibility for the ensuing disaster that will befall the country.

The voters have spoken and made a record level of donations to Donald J. Trump. But all the GOP is doing is spending money on themselves to protect their cushy jobs in Washington DC. They could care less about who is president; all they care about is their own political careers.

We back him for president, but the party doesn’t. We will remember this backstabbing treachery for a long time to come.

Good grief man!

Do you know how to do a Google search for an article? By the way, when someone says this... that can be any search engine (Google, Bing, Yahoo, DuckDuckGo, etc).

One more thing if you are going to say someone source is false, then the burden of proof is on YOU to prove it. Nevertheless, this time I figured I would help you out.

Here you go,

Mad isn’t the word for it. They think we’re mad and we’ll get over it but what we really want is them gone, out of public life.

However he may be flawed, Trump is showing the GOP what courage looks like. He fights back without apologizing and that’s what has his base energized. Add that to the fact that he doesn’t hate America and isn’t out to destroy it, and all of his shortcomings can be overlooked.

He is not perfect, but who is in life?

Trump is a million times better than Hillary Clinton.

Even the far Leftist Green Party say Trump is better than Hillary.
