It's Not an Election. It's a War.
American Thinker ^ | October 15, 2016 | Debbie Hallberg

Posted on 10/15/2016 5:21:02 PM PDT by Kaslin

There are an awful lot of people out there who still think this is a conventional election, that we are choosing between two candidates on the basis of experience, policies, and character.

This is not a conventional election. This is, as the late, great Andrew Breitbart put it, "war!"

An all-out culture war.

It's not a war that conservatives started or have ever wanted. It is a war that has been thrust on us. But if we don't treat it as a war, if we don't take it seriously as a war, we will lose and lose miserably. We will lose not just for the next four years, but for the next 40 years, and possibly the next 400 years.

In other words, this is not a skirmish or a tiny battle, as the #NeverTrump crowd imagines. If we don't defeat the enemy in November, there may not be another chance for a long time to come.

When you're at war, your tactics change considerably. For your leader, you don't want a gentleman warrior or an intellectual who is good at articulating ideas but not very good in the trenches. Those are peacetime leaders, perhaps, but not wartime generals.

At time of war, you pick a general who is tough as nails and will lead you confidently into battle and be victorious. You choose someone who knows how important it is, as Winston Churchill said, to "Never give up! Never give up! Never, never, never-never-never-never!"

The general you pick may be foul-mouthed, crude, or brusque. He may have any number of personal failings. Those things don't matter in war. What matters is:

Is he on your side?

I believe a lot of people will go “political Galt” if Trump and the American people are cheated out of this. By that I mean will just completely stop participating in the political process.

Exactly why I voted Trump this year. Wish I had done it in 2012, but the urgency wasn’t as obvious.

It is a war and we have the enthusiasm to fight it.
The enemy’s fake polls don’t factor in real turnout projections based on actually discovered enthusiasm levels

Consider these facts about Democrat enthusiasm:
A New Gallup survey has determined that enthusiasm among Democrats is at a 16 year low

In regard to Gallup’s findings, The Washington Examiner commented, “Just 65 percent of Democrats plan to vote in the election, and it’s just 47 percent among all voters aged 18-34, a trend that has the party worried about the lack of enthusiasm for Hillary Rodham Clinton. Republicans hold an 11-point advantage in those planning to vote, 76 percent to 65 percent, but the GOP vote is also at a 16-year low, but by three points compared to nine for the Democrats.”

A compilation of three recent polls that are generally unfriendly to Trump, shows the CNN/ORN poll had her down in enthusiasm among supporters 58/46, the Washington Post/ABC NEWS poll had Clinton down 46/33 and a New York Times/CBS survey showed Clinton behind 45/36 in supporter enthusiasm.

This is a more fitting Churchill quote than the one in the article:

“If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves.”

Think after a few thousand of 'em are raped and/or killed by the dhimmicrats' invaders du jour they'll be wishing for a do-over ?

There's a proposition( 57) in California that allows a rapist to be considered non violent if the raped was unconscious. The left will get raped by their own then demand justice and wake up way too late since they'd vote Hillary who actually laughed and got a rapist off by saying the twelve year old victim asked for it.

What African ‘immigrants’ have done to the once lovely streets of Paris- tons of trash, open urination, open defecation on the streets. Absolutely disgusting!!

Coming here if Hill wins..she wants 500% increase in ‘refugees’.

The stakes are high. We can lose the Judeo-Christian foundation of our civilization. A huge part of it is already gone. They are working on taking the rest.
hillary will bring in a million savages who hate Judaism and Christianity, and demand special privileges. It will lead to the elimination of all vestiges of our past.

It’s terrifying. The demokkkrats are still pissed about losing the civil war, and have yet to surrender.
The alternative is a blood bath again but this time it will be in the tens of millions and not hundreds of thousands like the last time.
