Foldspace, you hit the nail on the head. Let me broaden your take on globalism a bit with the comment I left on IsraPundit:
What is rarely alluded to in the attempt to gauge and understand the globalism phenomenon is that it basically has evolved into an unholy amalgam of both contemporary leftism (which would be unrecognizable by Marx) AND Nazi corporate fascism. Contemporary crypto-Nazi industrialists and Nazi aristocratic elements have managed to mash their world empire vision together with the communist vision of a world government minus its labor power. This is Hitler’s 4th Reich, feudal warlordism, utopian imperialism, obsessive compulsive disorder and narcissistic sadism wrapped in a nice idealistic ribbon for the “New Age” gullible. Above all it is NAZI in its deepest form as defined by the Waffen SS occult initiative envisioned at Wewelsburg Castle, Himmler’s navel of the human id monster’s savage game plan.
I will admit he fell into step AFTER we declared war, but prior to that he was pro-Hitler and believed that the Germans had the right idea and we were wrong to consider dismantling that.

Aiding and abetting the enemy isn’t seditious? Hitler was not fighting us at the time, but he was attempting to destroy our allies and the undesirables . . . Lindbergh made goodwill trips to Germany where he met with Hitler and offered him whatever encouragements he was able.
My definition of ‘traitor’ is just broader than yours.
Obviously, and a broad definition of the word can become a very dangerous thing.
Would you consider Henry Ford a traitor? He liked Hitler too. There were many whom at the time considered Hitler as a buffer against Communism, which was considered an even greater threat.

Henry Ford is listed as a Nazi sympathizer . . . he would likely be very comfortable in the GOP-e these days.

A globalist is someone who has an insatiable hunger for wealth and power on an international scale and use progressivism and any means at their disposal to destroy the idea of nationalism and democracy through open borders and trade deals.
Hillary is a crooked globalist as an example.
