Donald Trump's campaign is "pulling out of Virginia," a move that stunned staff in the battleground state, three sources with knowledge of the decision told NBC News.
The decision came from Trump's headquarters in New York and was announced on a conference call late Wednesday that left some Republican Party operatives in the state blindsided. Two staffers directly involved in the GOP's efforts in Virginia confirmed the decision.
The move to pull out of Virginia shows Trump is "running essentially a four state campaign," with the focus now shifting to battlegrounds critical to his chances in November: Pennsylvania, Florida, North Carolina, and Ohio, a source with knowledge of the decision told NBC News.
It could be good, it might be that Trump’s polling show him leading Clinton in Virginia.
Well by now, if you do not know who Trump is and why he is a far superior alternative to a felonious witch, you are probably too dumb to vote anyway!

It’s a good decision. He’s closer in the polls for states like Wisconsin and Michigan than he is in Virginia.
Doubtful. If Trump is leading, then why push for Pennsylvania, Florida, North Carolina, and Ohio? It would seem the latter three should be givens if he is leading in Virginia.
I don’t think he is leading in Virginia - if he was they would not do this....... they would simply shift some resources and maintain appearances.

Another smart move by Trump. Corey didn’t have the bosses permission. He had no right to step on toes.
He doesn’t need Virginia is he gets Pennsylvania, Florida, North Carolina, and Ohio. The election is his if he wins those four states.
With the backstabbing RNC, you don’t just step on their toes, you kick them in the nuts to let them know that you are serious and won’t take their betrayals any more.
I have a friend, a Holocaust survivor, who, despite some health limitations, is going to make about 100 calls on Trump’s behalf.
What do I tell her now? Forget it, we’ve been abandoned? I think she went through this once before in something called WW2.

Trump doesn’t need Virginia, doesn’t need Pennsylvania.
Article seems bogus. What does pulling out mean? Trump never had campaign offices and hundreds of staffers in Virginia.
DC should have been much larger (Texas-sized?), and its residents should have been explicitly barred from voting for president or being represented in Congress.
After all, DC is the government, and it is a conflict of interest for the government to vote for the government.
That leaves little margin for error.
Virginia would seal a Trump Victory.
