In the latest bombshell from Congress’ probe into what’s looking more and more like an FBI whitewash (or coverup) of criminal behavior by the Democratic nominee and her aides, the Denver-based tech who destroyed subpoenaed emails from Clinton’s server allegedly lied to FBI agents after he got an immunity deal.
That’s normally a felony. As a federal prosecutor, Comey tossed Martha Stewart in jail for it and helped convict Scooter Libby for it as well. Yet the key Clinton witness still maintained his protection from criminal prosecution.
With Comey’s blessing, Obama prosecutors cut the deal with the email administrator, Paul Combetta, in 2015 in exchange for his full cooperation and honest testimony. But the House Judiciary Committee revealed Wednesday that he falsely told agents in a Feb. 18 interview that he had no knowledge that emails he bleached from the server were under congressional orders to be preserved as evidence.

Correct me if I'm wrong but immunity deals are put in place to ensure truthful testimony without invokation of the 5th amendment but they do NOT provide immunity from perjury. What am I missing?
Oh, I bet the guys testimony wasn't sworn so no perjury risk either. I'll say this, when the FBI covers up a crime, they cover every possibility. Masterfully played, Comey.

The agents of the FBI are his willing enablers.

Combetta had just read his daily Bible chapter and knew the fastest route to heaven was producing emails, and not have the address, but some name or placeholder instead of the actual .com address in the “from line.”
Paul Combetta was caught lying AFTER his immunity agreement was executed.....it is likely that his immunity agreement will not survive.

Lying to the FBI or Congress is a felony regardless of whether an oath was administered. That’s why the FBI didn’t even make notes about Hillary’s answers to the FBI.

Martin, a Glen Burnie, Md. resident, was charged with theft of government property and unauthorized removal and retention of classified materials by a government employee or contractor."
That agency has some serious chutzpah for arresting anyone for that, ever again.

So I guess he gave this testimony but now people realize he had been on Reddit trying to get help to delete things so they can never be found again and/or how to strip the name of a very VIP out of subject and to/from headers.
Except it was never actual immunity. The DOJ lawyers agreed to not prosecute - since the DOJ is part of the corruption and cover up, the immunity stands as long as not outside lawyers end up with jurisdiction.
Martin must be either a Republican or behind on his protection payments to the rats.
After eight years, Obama’s commissars control virtually every Federal agency. Sadly that includes the FBI and the military. Anything they do, any report or statistic released follows the politically correct narrative. Comey would not have been appointed unless he was a compromised man who could be manipulated. Virtually nothing that comes out of the Federal government can be taken at face value or believed unconditionally.
