A number of African countries have banned China from buying their donkeys, saying demand for the four-legged creatures has become unsustainable.
Niger announced a ban on the export of donkeys this month after trade of the animals increased by three times in the last year, mainly to Asian countries.

The Chinese intend to control world food supply. They are heavy buyers of US ag companies and farm land. Same in Africa.
China thinks of itself as a modern nation. This proves the opposite.
Cows, donkeys. Pigs, goats. People gotta eat.
I had a thought they weren’t using the donkeys as pack animals and then I kept reading.
China. Traditional “medicine.” Depopulating the planet of its elephant, rhino, dolphin, dog, donkey and every other manner and kind of critter in the insatiable desire to treat conditions for which, if their “medicine” DID work, would have them living hundreds of years on average rather than having a life expectancy roughly that of the USA circa 1900 before flush toilets, hand-washing and Tetanus vaccines. Wait, what? What a bunch of primitive screw heads.
This is a good thing. We must NOT allow the Chinese to corner the market on Donkey’s!

It is said the Chinese will eat anything with four legs that isn’t a table, anything with wings that isn’t an airplane, and anything that swims that isn’t a submarine.
During times of famine, one eats to survive. But today’s China isn’t famine prone. Old habits die hard.

This is reassuring. I had thought they were using the donkeys to bring heavy weapons to the China-India border.
They are, underneath it all, savages.
We have a good supply of jackasses in our country that we really don't need.
