If a 15 year old girl has sex with a 40 year old guy, without money changing hands, only the guy gets charged.
This law makes it easier for girls forced into prostitution to testify against their pimps.

What liberals have done is make it seem as if most prostitutes are victims. The use terms like “human trafficking” so it’s not the hooker’s fault.
Human trafficking may rarely be the case but most these prostitutes are criminals. My guess is that there are about to be a lot more young prostitutes in California.
Under-aged prostitution has been legal for decades in Hollywood.
All you have to do to find it is walk on the set of a Nickelodeon production.
I don’t have a problem with this.
It is those who purchase (or try to purchase) sexual services form minors who should be arrested and charged with sexual assault with a minor.
Even cases not involving a minor, if prostitution is illegal, it should be illegal for both parties, not just one.

Would a prosecutor knowingly bring prostitution charges against a young girl who was forced into prostitution? I really doubt it. So what’s the real purpose of this law?
