Some time ago I read something - might have been by Spencer, or not, as I can’t recall exactly - that stated he used to think shariah was an extension of islam, but had come to fully comprehend that islam is an extension of shariah; that, in fact, shariah is the law and islam is the vehicle to deliver the law.
First let’s understand what the Hadiths are. The Hadiths are the interpretations of the quran by “authorized scholars”. If you ever talk to a mooslime you will find that there are weak hadiths. Any time a non believer in Islam quotes the hadith, its automatically classified as a weak hadith by that mooslime. Shariah law comes from the hadiths that are interpreted by “authorized scholars”. In Islam the quarn comes directly from their god and cannot be changed. They tout this as one of the miracles that it has never been changed until you bring up the abrogation verse. According to Islam, shariah law is directly from the Quran. However, what is ironic is that when something need to be accomplished and there was no hadith to cover that issue, mysteriously one would pop up. So the delivery of Islam is by the whim of clerics and scholars not Islam not the quran. Shariah is enforced by man and is made by man. Wait so too is the Qurap!
