While I have no idea what her condition is, it’s obvious that the cough is chronic. Note that she, an aide, and Kaine ALL had the same cough drop at the ready. Prescription strength perhaps?
As bad as it was for her to stand there and continue, it would have caused more of a stir had she left the podium.
If and when she does this at the debates, Trump should very gently ask if she’d like to reschedule.
NO, NO, NO!!!!!!!! Keep talking; make her recover or collapse on the stage. No graceful exits; no cutting away to commercial. All debates should be shown on CSPAN so even when the commercial networks go to a break, CSPAN is still showing her coughing and GKWE her reaction to the illness might be.
