I like Mark Levin, but he really loses me when he goes on and on about hare-brained ideas like the "convention of the states" that will never happen in a million years, as if it's still the 18th century or something.

Like him, I supported Ted Cruz. Unlike him, I was able to eventually get over the fact that Cruz lost.

Is Trump a perfect conservative? Heck no, but he's a million times better than Hillary Clinton, and the Cruz brand of conservatism simply isn't selling at this time. Levin should understand that you can't make the perfect the enemy of the good!

Convention of the States is not a bad idea. Shows his true Constitutional scholarship.

The problem is that our population today is so politically and economically ill-informed that the thing would turn into an unmitigated disaster.

Rights to housing, free tuition, jobs or income, health care, and who knows what else would surely emerge.
