New Food and Drug Administration regulations on cigars, e-cigarettes and other products that took effect Aug. 8.
Among the regulations is what many interpret as a ban on the charitable donation of tobacco products.

I have donated cigars for troops and their gratitude is amazing.
What kind of sick government officials would even consider such madness?
People that want to undermine (for the eventual destruction of) the US military.
Ridiculous.....
Most service members appreciate a good cigar...
BTW, when I typed my initial response I was enjoying a great Domincan ....
My Son-in-law in a Marine Flight Instructor in Pensacola......when we are together on visits he and his fellow instructors enjoy a good cigar with me.”
Big tobacco is squeezing vapers outta the market place because smokers that start vaping stop smoking. They couldn’t ban vape products without banning the rest of tobacco. It would be too obvious of their monopolistic intentions.
I am certain that “charitable” donations of korans, halal foods and jihadist propaganda would be welcomed.
Cigars for Warriors made our Tuesday nights something to look forward to. All the manufacturers and people who donated have everyone’s thanks. It was really the closest we ever got to feeling like we were back stateside, with the added bonus of flouting political correctness in the finest military tradition.
I suggest they move all FDA offices to FOBs. Let’s see how long the little Hitlers survive. Bastards!

The Founding States made the first numbered clauses in the Constitution, Sections 1-3 of Article I, evidently a good place to hide these clauses from Congress (sarc), to clarify that all federal government legislative / regulatory powers are vested in the elected members of Congress, not in the executive or judicial branches, or in constitutionally undefined federal regulatory agences like the EPA and FDA, such agencies run by faceless, non-elected bureaucrats.
In other words, Congress has a constitutional monopoly on federal legislative powers whether it wants it or not. But by delegating legislative / regulatory powers to non-elected federal officials outside the legislative branch, such powers often 10th Amendment-protected state powers which the feds have stolen from the states, corrupt Congress is wrongly protecting such powers from the wrath of the voters in blatant defiance of Sections 1-3 mentioned above.
Note that Congress is letting federal officials outside the legislative branch get away with stealing legislative powers probably so that corrupt lawmakers can keep their voting records clean. And by keeping their voting records clean, lawmakers can fool low-information patriots, patriots who are clueless about the Constitutions division of powers, into reelecting them.
Remember in November !
Patriots need to support Trump / Pence by also electing a new, state sovereignty-respecting Congress that will not only work within its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers to support Trumps vision for making America great again for everybody, but will also put a stop to unconstitutonal federal taxes and likewise unconstitutional inteference in state affairs.
Note that such a Congress will also probably be willing to fire state sovereignty-ignoring activist justices.
They damn sure thank you. I would have loved a good cigar in Vietnam.
How in the hell do they have this power? If we had a man in the White Hut things would be different.
Gee, troop, that stogie might kill you.
We used to receive something called SP PACKS.
Never been a smoker, but I remember they had cigarettes and chewing tobacco candy and shaving cream, razor blades ...?
Used some of the chew for night ambush, when you gotta stay awake.
A small bite of that crap, and I couldn’t close my eyes if I wanted to!
The regular infantry units got those. I was in SF. I carried a cartoon of Pall Mall in my INDIG ruck. It was gone the end of the second day. By noon at the latest on day 3 I was bumming Ruby Queens from my yards.
So the me & women who are risking their lives for OUR freedom cannot be given free cigars??????? Our gov’t has lost it.
