Not one illegal gets citizenship in any fashion, not a single one, until a decent wall is built and our borders are properly patrolled.
Securing the border solves part of the problem, but 40% of the illegals came here legally and overstayed their visas. We need more interior enforcement and a leveraging of state and local law enforcement with ICE to identify and deport the lawbreakers.
We also need to go after countries that refuse to take their nationals back. We have laws on the books that require us to stop issuing visas to nationals of countries that refuse to take their people back. We just don't enforce them.
